Hotel Sponsors Hockey

TFE Hotels announced a two-year extension of its sponsorship agreement with Hockey Australia. This agreement will create a strong partnership between Adina Hotels and the sports flagship teams.

The extended partnership between Adina and Hockey Australia is poised to benefit community hockey significantly. With a strategic focus on increasing its presence within Hockey Australia, Adina's support will pave the way for enhanced grassroots development and increased opportunities for young players.

As part of its commitment to community hockey, Adina has introduced a range of initiatives. These include the Hookin2Hockey programme, designed for 5 to 12-year-olds to learn and enjoy the sport, and the Adina Community Clinics, held nationwide to provide coaching and support to local teams.

"Adina Hotels' support at both the grassroots and elite level of our sport continues to be incredibly valuable. When you see the kids' faces light up at an Adina Community Clinic, you see the true value of their support," said David Pryles, CEO of Hockey Australia.

"We were excited in 2022 to align with Adina as a highly recognisable and respected Australian brand, and we would like to thank them for their commitment to hockey."

In announcing this sponsorship, TFE Hotels' COO Antony Ritch highlighted the shared values and goals of Adina and Hockey Australia.

Both brands are deeply committed to supporting grassroots community sports and nurturing the next generation of Olympic athletes, a commitment that forms the foundation of their partnership.

"Adina's partnership with Hockey Australia really resonates with our core values of community, family and a shared sense of belonging," said Ritch.

"We've enjoyed a strong partnership with Hockey Australia over the past two years and are proud to support hockey, from the youngest playing members to our Masters players."

Under the agreement, Adina will remain the official partner of Hockey Australia's suite of National Hockey Championships, including the Indoor Championships, Country Championships, Masters Championships, and the U14, U16, U18, and U21.
