The Star Brisbane is to be the next big entertainment hub in the city’s CBD, comprising more than 50 entertainment venues. The new AU $3.6 billion Queen’s Whard precinct will also be home to four luxury hotels.
The Star’s signature luxury five-star resort, The Star Grand, will feature 340 guest rooms across the two arc-shaped towers adjacent to the South Bank Parklands and overlooking the Brisbane River. The Star Grand will also include exquisite finishes and bespoke touches, with an oversized freestanding bathtub of the four skyline Penthouse suites.

Chief Operating Officer of The Star Brisbane, Kelvin Dodt, said that was incredibly exciting to be able to share the first look inside the complex, which will change the city as it is known.
“From a selection of Brisbane’s grandest hotels to delectable dining, spectacular sky-high views, and unique experiences for locals and tourists alike, The Star Brisbane promises to celebrate the best of our river city,” said Dodt.
The precinct is set to house the finest Australian cuisine there is in Queensland, through the collection of hospitality and retail outlets that will be housed in the Queens Wharf Area.
Event spaces, a sports bar, The Star’s signature ‘Cherry’ bar, and so much more is said to be expected.
The Star Brisbane is set to be opened officially in early to mid-2024.
