Canopy by Hilton Debuts in Cannes

The first Hilton Hotel in Cannes has officially opened its doors.

Canopy by Hilton Cannes offers panoramic views over the Mediterranean from its rooftop terraces and boasts an impressive indoor-outdoor swimming pool.

The interiors were designed by acclaimed designer Ramy Fischer. In collaboration with a jury of art experts and private collectors from across the world, the hotel invited twelve young artists to create unique artwork for each room. The contemporary artwork is complemented by the brand’s signature canopy bed frame, adorned by exclusive bedding created for Canopy by Hilton.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Nouvelle Vague Hospitality to bring Canopy by Hilton’s elevated, boutique hotel experience to Cannes’ most desirable neighbourhood,” said Simon Vincent, executive vice president and president, EMEA, Hilton.

Nestled in the heart of the French Riviera, Cannes attracts millions of visitors annually and is the host city of multiple high-profile international events, including the Cannes Film Festival. The city is a hot spot for luxury shopping, and acclaimed dining experiences and is home to some of the country's best beach clubs.

The hotel features 129 guest rooms and suites, along with a further 12 apartments, most of which overlook the old harbour, La Croisette, and the Lérins Islands. Jean-François Chapel, the hotel’s general manager is delighted to have officially opened to the public.

“Canopy by Hilton Cannes is a tribute to the incredible all-year-round appeal of the French Riviera and I’m proud to bring the Canopy by Hilton brand to this destination.”
