Park Hyatt Auckland has been crowned the best hotel in New Zealand, according to Condé Nast Traveller's 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards.
Park Hyatt Auckland also secured the second spot overall, with The Fullerton Hotel in Sydney taking the top spot. Park Hyatt Auckland was the only New Zealand hotel in the top 10.
Condé Nast Traveller described Park Hyatt Auckland as “a glass palace beside Waitematā Harbour”, and paid special mention to the “slick interiors by Conran and Partners London punctured by traditional Māori art”.
Newstalk ZB radio host, Mike Hosking, commended Park Hyatt Auckland for helping drive the resurgence of tourism in New Zealand. Establishing itself on International and Oceania lists of renowned hotels is an exciting achievement for Park Hyatt Auckland.
