HotelREZ Announces New Appointments

HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts has announced the return of Sharon Rubin after a five-year break. She has been appointed Vice President of Product Development, a new role in the company.

Rubin is a passionate strategist with over 20 years of experience in digital transformation for SMEs and global businesses. She was executive director of eCommerce and Global Marketing for HotelREZ in Hong Kong from 2009 to 2018.

Before joining HotelREZ, she had worked for Pegasus Solutions, ASP Events, and Reed Exhibitions as an experienced commercial manager.

"The opportunity to once again contribute to this dynamic and forward-thinking organisation was too tempting," said Rubin.

"I'm excited to be back in the thick of the action, helping shape HotelREZ's products and services, working with the team who are equally enthused about the future of hotel technology, and helping our clients achieve their business goals."

Her appointment is complemented by two new senior recruits, Kenan Davies and Olav Schuetz, who will report to Deborah McGee, VP of Business Development, to further expand HotelREZ's presence in Europe.

Davies has been appointed the Business Development Director of the UK Market and has a range of hospitality sales experience. Schuetz is now a Business Development Director at DACH Market, where he was previously a Country Manager (DACH) for Triptease.

"Sharon has long embodied how we care about our clients and our desire to improve their business continually," said Mark Lewis, CEO of HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts.

"Welcoming her back was an easy choice, and I'm delighted Kenan and Olav are joining her to round out what promises to be an incredibly dynamic team as we approach our 20th anniversary.".
