Largest Airshow Event

Australia | Pacific Airshow Gold Coast has announced a two-year partnership extension with Australia’s largest hotel operator, Accor, as the official accommodation partner.

Last year, the event sold out, drawing nearly 250,000 visitors. Pacific Airshow began in 2016 in Huntington Beach and has since become the largest Airshow event in Australia.

As part of the partnership, Accor is offering Airshow fans the best rates when joining Accor’s lifestyle loyalty programme, where they can save with a special Members’ Rate and earn points on every stay at brands like Peppers, Novotel, Mantra, BreakFree and Sofitel.

Due to how Accor’s hotels, apartments, and resorts are positioned in the heart of Surfers Paradise and along the coastal strip, they offer convenient options for all visitors of the Airshow.

“We are excited to partner again with the Gold Coast’s largest hotel operator, Accor, for the next two years,” said Kevin Elliot, CEO of Code Four and Director of Pacific Airshow.

“We believe this represents the strength of our event, and having the support from Accor backs up the impact our Airshow has on the local community.”

In 2023, the Pacific Airshow saw accommodation occupancy hit 90 percent capacity in Surfers Paradise, with over 100,000 room stays across the three days.

“We’re delighted to announce extending our partnership with Pacific Airshow Gold Coast for a further two years,” said Adrian Williams, Accor Pacific COO.

“This exhilarating event seamlessly aligns with our commitment to delivering unparalleled experiences for our guests.”

For a VIP experience, Accor will turn Hyde Paradiso at Peppers Soul Surfers Paradise over to Airshow guests. Guests will interact with performers, crew, and VIPs while enjoying Australian hospitality.

With more than 25 participating hotels, resorts and apartments on the Gold Coast, Airshow enthusiasts can book a range of well-appointed, perfectly placed hotels to stay at during the weekend of festivities.
