PARAGUAY | Hilton's Tapestry Collection has made its brand debut in Paraguay and celebrated the opening of its 10th property.
Hilton has announced the opening of Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, the company’s first hotel in Paraguay and the 10th addition to Tapestry Collection by Hilton in the Caribbean and Latin America.
With plans to double its presence, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will welcome 10 more hotels in the region over the next four years and is primed to provide guests with authentic experiences across destinations worth exploring. As part of its aggressive growth strategy over the past decade in the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton continues to broaden its reach in the region, adding new countries and territories and launching new brands. By the end of 2024, Hilton will also welcome Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire to Tapestry Collection by Hilton, marking Hilton’s first hotel in the Caribbean Island.
"Hilton's Lifestyle category is projected to double its size over the next four years, and openings like Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion and Tapestry Collection by Hilton are helping us reach this milestone," said Jenna Hackett, senior vice president and global leader, Hilton Lifestyle Brands.
"Debuting in a destination recognised for its rich history and proximity to natural wonders like Iguazu Falls and the Atlantic Forest, this opening marks Hilton’s arrival to Paraguay and our commitment of offering vibrant, authentic experiences across our rapidly growing Tapestry Collection portfolio."
Housed in a historic building dating back to 1901 that originally served as the headquarters for the Superior Court of Justice, Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion’s conversion to Tapestry Collection by Hilton exemplifies the essence of the Collection brand, which retains the personalised and authentic identity of each hotel while pairing it with Hilton’s recognised hospitality and added benefits to guests. The hotel’s recent renovation maintained its neoclassical architecture, blended with Spanish modernism inspiration and stayed true to its cultural heritage while adding modern amenities to improve the guest experience. The hotel offers 107 comfortable rooms, including spacious two-floor suites and an expansive presidential suite with two bedrooms and a balcony. Guests can also enjoy an interior courtyard, a fitness centre and a rooftop pool.
“We are thrilled to join Tapestry Collection by Hilton’s prestigious global portfolio as we continue to serve our community and offer an authentic experience to guests,” said Elisa Kawata, general manager of Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
“By choosing our signature hotel, guests have a unique opportunity to relive the city’s past with its pedestrian streets, iconic bars and traditional social gathering spots, all while enjoying the comfort of a boutique hotel, first-class cuisine and prime location.”
