Known for shaping one of the most iconic sports cars in the world, the design minds behind Porsche are now illuminating interiors. Design Denmark, with the support of Porsche New Zealand, has introduced a new lighting range from LIGHT-POINT Copenhagen, developed in collaboration with Studio F. A. Porsche.
The same studio that brought the world the Porsche 911 has turned its attention to lighting, creating a sculptural and highly functional collection that embodies the precision and innovation that defines Porsche design. From the clean lines to the technical performance, each piece in the range is unmistakably refined.
Studio F. A. Porsche was founded in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, who famously designed the 911 before establishing his own design house in Austria. Today, the studio continues to influence global design across disciplines, guided by a philosophy that blends form with function: "Always get the most out of everything, optimise function and reduce every design to its essentials."
"We’re excited to announce the collaboration with Studio F. A. Porsche, which has been part of our design strategy developed a few years ago," said Ronni Gol, Founder of LIGHT-POINT. "Studio F. A. Porsche is recognised globally for its superb design and quality."
The result is a collection of contemporary lighting pieces that are both minimalist and impactful.
