Crowne Plaza Melbourne reveals its new look

Crowne Plaza Melbourne

After 12 months of refurbishments, Crowne Plaza Melbourne has unveiled the new look of its 402 renovated guest rooms. The reveal marks the end of the first phase of refurbishments. Across all the rooms, contemporary bathrooms with standalone showers, premium bedding, and designer furnishings have been upgraded and installed.

The City View rooms include walk-in wardrobes with sleek workstations, and the Luxury suites have deep bathtubs, walk-in showers, plush bedding, new furniture and views of the Melbourne City skyline.

“Our intention was to create an experience that blends work and leisure while ensuring the design was functional and contemporary. Multiple workspaces enable casual and formal work areas, open ‘walk-in’ wardrobes enhance the leisure experience, and bright inspiring accents complement the rooms’ neutral and calming tones,” said Tina Parkinson, senior development manager, SB&G Group, the hotel’s owner.

The second phase of the hotel's $25 million refurbishments will begin in the second quarter of 2019.
