SPAIN | Björn Wild, an acclaimed industry leader, will lead luxury hotel Finca Banyols as its next General Manager.
Björn Wild has been appointed as the new General Manager of Finca Banyols, the luxury estate hotel opening next quarter in Mallorca. Appointed in January 2025, Wild has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare the estate for its highly anticipated debut.
With over 15 years of international hospitality leadership, Wild brings deep operational expertise and a passion for experiential luxury to this soon-to-launch luxury property. His appointment marks a key milestone in the lead-up to the debut of Finca Banyols, which promises a distinctive blend of heritage, sustainability, and contemporary design in one of the island’s most storied rural enclaves.

Under Wild’s direction, the estate will focus on elevated personalisation, refined sustainability practices, and deep connections with the island’s cultural and culinary traditions.
A graduate of the Hotel Management Institute in Frankfurt, Germany, he has held key positions across Europe, including nine years at one of the first luxury hotels in Mallorca - Grand Hotel Son Net. Most recently, Wild served as Operations Director for a boutique hotel group in the Balearics, where he led strategic growth initiatives and enhanced guest experiences across multiple properties.
Scheduled to open Q4 of 2025, and located in the heart of Mallorca, Finca Banyols is a 15th-century estate reimagined as a contemporary retreat with 32 rooms, wellness facilities and more. The Tramuntana mountains serve as a backdrop, while surrounded by ancient olive trees and citrus orchards, the hotel offers two destination restaurants, Aramesh and Tafona 1475, as well as Aurum Bar, a gathering place for craft cocktails and seasonal flavours. Finca Banyols is a sanctuary for travellers seeking nature, culture, and design-led comfort in perfect harmony.
