From ridgeline to rooftop, Bar Albert has unveiled a new bespoke gin collaboration with Waiheke Distilling Co.

Bar Albert, Auckland's highest hotel rooftop destination, is thrilled to announce its partnership with Waiheke Distilling Co., resulting in the creation of Bar Albert Gin, a bespoke London Dry style gin available exclusively at the celebrated venue.

This collaboration bridges the waters between Auckland's skyline and Waiheke Island's picturesque ridgelines, bringing together two of the region's most distinctive hospitality destinations. Co-owner and Chief Distiller at Waiheke Distilling Co., Glen Cadwallader has crafted a spirit that captures the essence of both locations from the island ridgeline to the cityscape rooftop.

Bar Albert Gin is a clean, classic London Dry style gin, bottled at 38 percent ABV and featuring eight carefully selected botanicals. The gin presents a refined and aromatic profile with pronounced citrus notes and subtle hints of liquorice on the nose. On the palate, it delivers a rich and silky texture with bright citrus flavours coming through, before finishing clean and crisp with lingering citrus oils and a gentle liquorice aftertaste.
