JAPAN | Palace Hotel Tokyo has launched its new 'A Touch of Dior' experience to celebrate the opening of Dior Bamboo Pavilion.
To mark the unveiling of the Dior Bamboo Pavilion, the only Japanese-brand hotel in Tokyo to hold the industry’s two most coveted ratings, has launched an exclusive collaboration celebrating the long-standing artistic ties between Dior and Japan.
Located in Tokyo’s chic Daikanyama neighbourhood, the Dior Bamboo Pavilion is a one-of-a-kind concept store paying homage to Christian Dior’s love of the beauty of nature. Reminiscent of the hôtel particulier at 30 Avenue Montaigne and illuminated nightly, the Pavilion’s golden façade takes inspiration from Japanese bamboo forests and is crafted from aluminium.
Inside, the scene is imbued with modern Parisian sophistication and features exceptional Japanese artisanship. The captivating space showcases Creative Director Jonathan Anderson’s latest collections, including limited-edition pieces available only at Dior Bamboo Pavilion. Outside, a conceptual garden conceived by Japanese landscape designer Seijun Nishihata further evokes the extraordinary artistry that arises when Japanese and French creativity and passion are woven together.
“The collaboration between us and Dior is a natural one, as Palace Hotel Tokyo has come to represent Japanese elegance in hospitality while maison Dior represents the essence of French elegance in fashion,” said Senior Managing Director and General Manager Masaru Watanabe.
“With this stay package, guests will have the opportunity to experience a pairing of two luxury brands that epitomise the very best and which together can deliver a singular experience.”
The Dior Bamboo Pavilion’s botanical and floral artistry extends into the exquisite space that is Café Dior by Anne-Sophie Pic, for which the world’s most Michelin-starred female chef has created an exclusive menu. The seasonal, light-meal set menu reserved for Palace Hotel Tokyo guests comprises a soup, a sandwich and salad, a choice of desserts, and coffee or tea.
At the hotel’s Lounge Bar Privé, where the “Miss Dior” cocktail is exclusively available to those who book the stay package, guests can savour a blend of the creamy, star-anise-based liqueur Pernod and the silky, almond sweetness of orgeat while soaking in views of the Imperial Palace gardens beyond.
The “A Touch of Dior at Palace Hotel Tokyo” stay experience is offered through March 31, 2027 (subject to availability) and is limited to one booking per day. Rates start at JPY 251,000 for Club Deluxe with Balcony rooms and JPY 407,000 for suites.
