De Groot has joined with 15 years of hospitality and commercial leadership experience, a deep obsession with the guest, and a track record of scaling travel brands across global markets.
De Groot’s career has been defined by a single conviction: the best businesses are the ones that know their guests inside out. He sharpened that conviction commercially at Nestlé Nespresso SA, and then put it to work at Tiqets, where he helped scale the experience platform across cultures and markets to more than 50 million travellers worldwide. From multinational to scale-up to startup, every step has been about smaller teams, bigger stakes, and faster decisions. That energy is exactly what he brings to HolidayHero.
