USA | River Inn of Harbour Town, a boutique hotel in Memphis managed by Beechwood Hospitality, has announced two additions to its leadership team.
Longtime team member Amy Nguyen has been promoted to General Manager, and Hailey Micic has been welcomed as Director of Sales and Catering.
Nguyen has been part of the River Inn team since 2018, most recently serving as Director of Hotel Operations. During her tenure, she has played an integral role in hotel operations, team development and the guest experience.
In her new role, Nguyen will draw on nearly two decades of hospitality experience to lead the property’s overall operations, including its three dining outlets, catering and events, and leadership team.
“Amy has a genuine appreciation for what makes Harbour Town such a special place and a deep connection to the Memphis community,” said Dominic Buompastore, Vice President of Operations, Beechwood Hospitality.
“She understands the people, relationships and sense of place that make River Inn unique. She is a natural fit to lead the hotel into its next chapter.”
Micic’s appointment came as River Inn placed increased focus on growing its weddings, corporate gatherings, social events, and group business. She has joined the hotel from Slider Inn Downtown, bringing firsthand experience in Memphis’ event market and a background spanning event sales, client relations and the coordination of private, corporate and community gatherings.
