Social Sushi & Sake In Singapore

Social Sushi & Sake In Singapore

SINGAPORE | Nobu, Four Seasons Hotel Singapore has unveiled a lunchtime experience featuring exceptional Japanese-Peruvian cuisine, with the option to elevate with either free-flow Whispering Angel rosé or Hokusetsu Junmai Sado No Shu sake.

Designed for leisurely Sundays and relaxed gatherings, Sunday Sushi Social has captured Nobu's relaxed sophistication while celebrating the art of thoughtful dining.

From expertly prepared selections of premium sashimi and hand-pressed nigiri to maki, grilled entrées, and salads, the Japanese Peruvian restaurant has encouraged sharing, discovery, and conversation with a sumptuous selection that includes Yellowtail, Shima-Aji, Spicy Tuna, Kanpachi, and Yellowtail Negi or Chilean Sea Bass; Squid Pasta; and Beef Anticucho from the grill.

A Journey Through Hokusetsu Sake

A bespoke Sake Trolley at daily dinner service will bring the world of Hokusetsu sake directly to the table through an interactive and personalised service.

Central to the experience will be Nobu’s long-standing relationship with the renowned Hokusetsu Brewery, located on Sado Island, Japan. Nobu exclusively serves Hokusetsu sake across its restaurants worldwide, following a partnership established in 1994.

Celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa discovered Hokusetsu through legendary Japanese musician Eikichi Yazawa and was immediately impressed by the brewery’s exceptional quality. What began as a meeting of appreciation has evolved into a longstanding partnership, with Hokusetsu remaining an integral part of the Nobu experience today.

The Sake Trolley celebrates the diversity of this single extraordinary brewery, showcasing expressions ranging from crisp and refreshing styles to rare and luxurious selections. Rather than navigating an extensive list of producers, guests have been invited to explore the breadth of Hokusetsu through a curated selection guided by the Nobu team.

Available Monday to Sunday during dinner service, the Sake Trolley brings an element of theatre to the table while maintaining Nobu's artisanal, sophisticated spirit.

Guided by Robson Massayuki Kagawa, the restaurant’s Sake Sommelier, guests can enjoy curated tastings, insights into the premium sake selection and receive personalised recommendations based on their preferences and chosen dishes.

From discovering a new favourite pour to exploring bespoke sake pairings, the experience offers an intimate and engaging way to appreciate Hokusetsu sake.

After Brunch at Nobu Bar

Guests can also complete the Taste of Nobu Saturday Brunch experience with an indulgent 90-minute extension at Nobu Bar, featuring free-flow handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, and a curated selection of bubbles, wines, and house pour spirits. This experience is exclusive to brunch guests with Classic or Luxe alcoholic beverage packages.

Summer Lo, Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, said that at Nobu Singapore, each culinary and beverage experience is distinct.

“Sunday Sushi Social captures the spirit of exceptional Japanese Peruvian cuisine, warm hospitality, and a sense of fun, while our new Sake Trolley invites guests to discover the craftsmanship and diversity of Hokusetsu sake in a personal, interactive, and memorable way.”

With the introduction of Sunday Sushi Social, the Sake Trolley and After Brunch, Nobu Singapore offers guests new ways to experience the restaurant by bringing together exceptional cuisine, sake discovery and the social spirit of dining at Nobu.
