AS part of the final phase of renovations scheduled in time for its 150th anniversary, The Langham, London has announced the launch of two new deluxe products; The Sterling Suite and The Langham Club.
As a follow up to the 236 square meter Infinity Suite, The Sterling Suite has been inspired by the sterling heritage of English pageantry. Designed by leading hospitality designers Richmond, the suite is London’s largest and most coveted suite at 450 square metres and a maximum possible configuration of six bedrooms.
The Sterling Suite will allow private lift access from Portland Place into Langham House and additional access from the main hotel building via the second floor. Guests seeking complete privacy will have the opportunity to secure the access to the suite via Langham House from the main hotel building. On arrival from the lift entry of Langham House, guests will reach a secluded Lobby area leading to two main bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, standalone bath tubs and dressing areas.
The heart of the suite will comprise of the luxurious Drawing Room with a unique dual-tone piano, a bespoke fireplace and a Butler’s bar offering the ideal home away from home setting. Sliding doors will link the Salon to a Dining Area for private dining experiences and a separate Home Theatre lounge for entertainment purposes. The Master Bedroom with a Master Salon living area, Master Bathroom and expansive Dressing Room will feature hand-painted chinoiserie on silver leaf panels and verre eglomise glass with gilded age details. All furniture within the suite is custom made with gold and silver leaf hand-painted finishes, marble and antique mirror work. Hand blown Murano glass light fixtures by Barovier & Toso and Baroncelli will feature in addition to more than sixty fabrics and textiles from luxurious suppliers including Rubelli and Dedar trimmings, Pierre Frey furnishings and Townsend leathers.
There are also three additional Deluxe Rooms and ante room adjoining to the three Master Bedrooms and main living areas, providing an expansive proposition for family stays. The Sterling Suite will provide the new hallmark for refined living and add to The Langham, London’s expanding suite proposition that includes the aforementioned Infinity Suite, the newly launched Wedgwood Suite, The Regent Suite and collection of Grand Club Junior Suites, Studio Suites, Classic Suites, Langham Suites and Langham apartments.
Inspired by the private clubs of the Victorian era, The Langham Club is set to redefine the Club concept with the ultimate in exclusivity, modern conveniences and attentive service. Offering a private sanctuary, The Langham Club features several distinct propositions to anticipate all guest’s needs from the point of arrival until departure.
Located above The Sterling Suite and spread across two floors, The Langham Club will operate between 6.30am until 11pm and provides butler and specialist Concierge services in addition to private showers and changing facilities available for guests requiring early arrival and late departure. Complimentary services will include premium broadband internet access, the pressing of three items of clothing upon check-in and up to two hours use of the Club’s Loft events space per stay. Designed by Richmond, The Club will offer an exclusive Butler Service headed up by Director of In-Room Dining and Butler Services, Fadi Samhoun. Located in Langham House part of the building, with a distinct residential feel of exclusivity, guests will be provided with private check-in and arrival/departure services.
