The Wyndham Hotel Group now has a second hotel in Queenstown. Wyndham Garden Remarkables Park opened today, marking the debut of the Wyndham brand in New Zealand and the wider South Pacific region.

Targeted at an upper-midscale audience the hotel will house 75-rooms and is positioned in the Remarkables Park precinct, putting guests within walking distance of the Queenstown Airport and a shuttle bus to The Remarkables ski slopes.

“Wyndham Garden has been experiencing steady growth across South East Asia, and we are excited to open our first property under the flag in New Zealand,” said Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director of International Operations, Wyndham Vacation Ownership.

New Zealand has experienced a tourism boom over the past three, Queenstown own of the places reaping the benefits. Hotels like the new Wyndham Garden are being built to deal with the high occupancy and unprecedented demand for accommodation.
