The new four-and-a-half star Sebel Auckland Manukau Hotel is for sale, still undergoing construction. The project is set for completion midway through 2018, expected to open by September.
The property is being developed with the Vodafone Events Centre in mind, as it is just a four-minute walk away.
“The Sebel Manakau hotel has specifically been formatted to work in conjunction with that venue by providing specialist accommodation and limited food and beverage options, rather than competing against the Events Centre,” said James Chan of Bayleys Auckland, who is marketing the property.
The hotel is initially set to employ 55 staff, expanding up to 75 when running at its capacity. The Sebel brand is owned by international hotel conglomerate, AccorHotels, who have 29 hotels under its management in New Zealand.
