MANTRA OPENS NSW HOTEL

Tucked away in the regional New South Wales city of Albury, Mantra Group has officially opened its latest development, Mantra Albury Hotel.

The project took 18 months to build and is the first hotel to open in Albury in over three years.

The eight-storey, 146-bedroom development will have one and two bedroom studios and suites, with views overlooking the Bogong High Plains and Victorian Alps.

“The hotel will play a key role in further elevating Albury’s profile and attractiveness as a leisure and business destination as the hotel appeals and caters to a range of domestic travellers seeking a contemporary hotel stay in this beautiful Riverina district,” Manta Group executive director of operations Mark Hodge said.

“Albury is a key regional commercial and tourism hub with established and varied accommodation drivers, well supported by the large regional airport and an impressive major events calendar which attracts significant visitation to the city.”

Mantra Albury Hotel currently employs more than 40 full-time staff and expects to inject more than $7 million into the local economy each year.
