Queenstown’s Eichardt’s Hotel Bar has been named among the top bar hotel bars in the world at this year’s Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Regional Awards.
The bar, which has been around since 1867, was also the only Kiwi winner in the category.
General Manager of Food and Beverage James Worthington said that “Every element of the Eichardt’s experience is carefully considered, and acknowledgement that our exacting standards continue to come up trumps is a testament to our hard-working team.”
Eichardt’s Bar prides itself on its sensory delights. Offerings of unique local food, a roaring fireplace and top-notch service working alongside the site’s award-winning wine list and speciality cocktails, and special culinary creations are all put together and crafted by Head Chef Will Eaglesfield and mixologist Shaun White.
