The Remarkables Skifield is extending its ski season by two weeks. Following record snowfall and consistently cold temperatures, the skifield will now remain open until October 24.
“The current snow coverage with 102 – 142 cms on our base has helped to confirm this decision. Prime spring temperatures expected to follow for the next couple of weeks and the promising weather forecast makes for exciting times ahead,” said Ross Lawrence, ski area manager, The Remarkables.
