Marlborough Tour Company has purchased the Furneaux Lodge and Punga Cove Resort in the Marlborough Sounds.
Both properties are located in the Endeavor Inlet on the Queen Charlotte Track.
The Marlborough Tour Company was established over 20 years ago and has plans to grow tourism in the Marlborough region with strategic investments and marketing.

“This purchase demonstrates our confidence in tourism growth in New Zealand, our confidence in Marlborough as a tourist destination, and also our confidence in the Queen Charlotte Track as an iconic tourist trail. Both lodges are an integral part of the overall track experience,” said Scott McKenzie, general manager, Marlborough Tour Company.
