TRENZ, the annual travel and trade event managed by Tourism Industry Aotearoa has been named as a finalist in the 2018 New Zealand Event Awards in the Best Business Event category.
The 2018 TRENZ event was held at Dunedin’s Edgar Centre and brought a $2 million economic boost the city, with over 1,500 people attending the four-day event.
TIA’s director of marketing, partnership and events Emily Byrne has also been nominated as a finalist in the Best Event Professional category at the Awards, which recognises an individual with a significant career in the field who demonstrated excellence throughout.
The winners of the New Zealand Event Awards will be announced early 2019.
