For the first time, a New Zealand wine brand has placed in the top three Most Admired Wine Brands in the World. These awards are operated by Drinks International, a world leader in the drinks magazine industry, as well as global research company Wine Intelligence. More than 130 industry experts judge the awards.
Sir George Fistonich founded Villa Maria in 1961. Since then, Villa Maria has been named New Zealand’s Most Admired Wine Brand for five consecutive years, as well as placing in the World’s Top 10 numerous times.
