Following Google’s quiet launch of Google Hotels, Choice Hotels properties in the Asia-Pacific region are now available for booking directly through Google.
Choice Hotels International were among the first to join with Google’s new system, and it hasn’t taken Choice Hotels Asia-Pac long to follow.
Users can now book directly on Google using a saved credit card once selecting the property in a Google search. The bookings are still linked through the Choice reservations system and managed by the property’s internal reservation system.
Members of the Choice Privileges loyalty programme can still earn points on their booking if they add their membership details once the booking is confirmed.
The change comes not long after Choice Hotels refreshed the logos for its four midscale brands: Quality Inn, Clarion, Sleep Inn, and MainStay Suites.
