Quay Perth hotel is officially set to open its door on 10 June.

The boutique property is part of the Singapore-based hotel management and building solutions company Louis T Collection.

The 80-room Quay Perth occupies the site of the former New Esplanade hotel,

“We believe Quay Perth will play an important role in the lifestyle of this exciting city,” said Adam Simkins, managing director, Louis T Collection.

“Our intent was to create a hotel with an independent, boutique character that would capture the essence of the city in a new space designed for co-living, co-working and co-playing.”

Quay Perth’s interiors were influenced by Western Australia’s landscape, with a natural earthy colour palette which utilises natural local materials.

The design was a collaborative project shared between leading architects and designers including renowned Western Australian residential interior designer Malvina Stone, architects Nicola Gibson and Daniel Bailey, and Perth-based architectural firm Alda Consultants.

“We wanted to honour the original building as best as we could whilst pushing the boundaries in terms of style and design,” said Stone.
