Plans laid out for Australia’s first Hilton Garden Inn

Hilton has announced the signing of the new-build Hilton Garden Inn Albany in Western Australia.

The 108-room property is the country’s first Hilton Garden Inn property and joins Hilton’s current portfolio of DoubleTree and Curio Collection branded hotels throughout Australia.

The property was signed as a management agreement with Foreshore Investments Albany Pty Ltd, with Hilton set to begin managing the new-build hotel upon its completion in late 2020.

“With the rise of the middle-class traveller, we believe that the Hilton Garden Inn brand will be extremely well-received in Australia and we look forward to bringing our bright and warm hospitality to travellers visiting the region.”

The Albany area in southern West Australia is renowned for its naturally rugged coastline, beaches, national parks and wildlife

Hilton Garden Inn Albany will join Hilton’s portfolio of 27 properties currently operating throughout Australasia, with another eleven hotels in the pipeline.
