In collaboration with Disney and Pixar, Novotel, part of Accor's impressive portfolio, has announced an intergalactic campaign to celebrate the takeoff of LIGHTYEAR, beginning on 16 June and continuing throughout the coming months.
LIGHTYEAR is a family-friendly animated adventure that follows the origin story of the brave space ranger, Buzz Lightyear. Novotel will delight its guests and fans with special offers, surprises, and fun activities inspired by the film at hotels across over 50 participating countries worldwide. The Novotel and LIGHTYEAR collaboration has already successfully celebrated the debut of three previous films: ONWARD, SOUL and LUCA.

Novotel's multi-film collaboration with Disney and Pixar sees participating Novotel locations featuring a series of 'out of this world' activities for visiting families. Upon arrival, children will be surprised with an assortment of LIGHTYEAR colouring cards, games, stickers and, upon request, a star projector that transforms guestrooms into an incredible, otherworldly space. Each family member will receive their own boarding pass inviting them to venture on a family mission, cosplay as Buzz using an exclusive Snapchat Lens, or strike a pose with a digital Buzz via an augmented reality photo shoot scene in the lobby.
The infinite reaches of Novotel's LIGHTYEAR campaign extends onto social media, where fans have a chance to win a travel-included Novotel family stay in London with unique space-related activities. This includes a chat with a real-life astronaut, an interior skydiving session, and rocket building.
Beyond the official campaign, select Novotel properties also welcome ALL – Accor Live Limitless members to redeem their Rewards Points for a family stay featuring space-themed activities. Some destinations will also offer guests an opportunity to attend a private screening of LIGHTYEAR, an experience that will leave the entire family starry-eyed.
