QT Hotels and Resorts have appointed Michael Anderson as the new director of sales and marketing at QT Auckland.
With over ten years of experience in hotels across Australia and New Zealand, Anderson brings a wealth of market knowledge and sales and marketing experience.
Anderson began his hospitality career at the head office of Accor New Zealand in a sales and marketing capacity. Over the last decade, he has worked in a number of roles, including director of sales for Pullman Auckland and most recently director of sales and marketing for Swissotel Sydney.
Anderson is a highly regarded hospitality professional with a focused commercial and strategic approach to his business. "I'm relishing the chance to take on the challenge of launching QT's highly anticipated hotel in Auckland," he said. "It is a renowned brand and I am looking forward to growing its presence in New Zealand."

QT Auckland will open at 4 Viaduct Harbour Avenue in 2020 and will be the 10th QT Hotel in the group and QT's third New Zealand property, joining QT Wellington and QT Queenstown.
