2021 is the year of the Ox. In Chinese culture, the Ox is a valued animal because of its role in agriculture, and similarly, in the zodiac, the Ox is seen as hardworking, positive and honest.
Eight Restaurant is excited to celebrate 2021 and the year of the Ox with a delectable selection of festive Chinese dishes for lunch and dinner at Eight.
For lunch, expect dishes such as XO marinated chicken, hoisin marinated sirloin, steamed whole fish, sesame and soy bok choy, chicken noodle soup, melon and grapefruit salad and much more.
For dinner, there are a few extra treats including tamarind glazed pork scotch, Singapore soft shell crab, baby octopus, fried squid, and steam whole fish along with all of your seafood favourites at Eight.
For dessert, authentic treats such as black sesame ice cream, mandarin sorbet, green tea log and mandarin slice will ensure a sweet start to the year of the Ox.
