The Hawke’s Bay hospitality industry has acknowledged the outstanding abilities of its own with the announcement of the winners of the 2021 Hawke’s Bay Hospitality Awards.

Presented by the Restaurant Association of New Zealand with the support of lead sponsor Gilmours, the awards acknowledge the outstanding hospitality professionals and businesses, who are making a positive impact on the local café, dining and drinking scene.

Hawkes Bay locals have also had their say selecting Piku Restaurant and Cocktail Bar as their favourite establishment.

Fresh from winning Best Vineyard in Australasia in the World’s Best Vineyard awards, Craggy Range follows this up taking two of the top accolades winning outstanding winery restaurant, along with best chef for Casey McDonald.

Those looking for a great coffee and brunch won’t be disappointed with Zach Wilkins of Little Frimley Kitchen voted top barista and Georgia on Tennyson taking out outstanding coffee establishment while Maina wins the accolade of outstanding café.

“The Hawkes Bay has some of the nation’s best restaurants, an abundance of fresh produce and world-class wineries, making it a mecca for diners,” expressed Restaurant Association CEO, Marisa Bidois.
