JW Marriott Debuts Herb Gardens in Collaboration with Lily Kwong

JW Marriott, a member of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of renowned hospitality brands, has announced the debut of three herb gardens installed by famous landscape designer Lily Kwong as part of its JW Garden program.

The new garden collaboration aims to reconnect people to nature and is a reflection of JW Marriott’s commitment to mindfulness.

JW Garden was inspired by founder J. Willard Marriott, a daily nature walk enthusiast, and his wife Alice, known for her legendary Sunday night dinners made from homegrown fruits, vegetables and herbs. Today, JW Marriott hotels worldwide use fresh produce and herbs from their own JW Garden in cuisines, cocktails, oils and more.

According to Bruce Rohr, Global Brand Leader, JW Marriott, there is a synergy between JW Marriott’s wellbeing principles and Kwong’s passion for building a bridge between people and nature.

“Our JW Garden program invites guests to enjoy serene spaces and find balance while staying with us – the garden instantly acts as a respite for the mind and spirit and later nourishes the body through its gifts. Lily is further elevating the JW Garden experience, and we cannot wait for guests to enjoy her vision.”
