Accor, the largest hotel operator in the Pacific, has partnered with Reckitt’s Dettol Pro Solutions to provide trusted protection and increased hygiene assurances for guests and team members.
Under the partnership, all Accor receptions, meetings and event spaces will be fitted with Dettol hand sanitiser pumps and dispensers alongside cleaning protocols to offer guests trusted germ protection.
Research conducted by Reckitt revealed that 92 percent of Australians said that hygiene measures and protocols of businesses and organisations they visit are essential. Therefore, providing robust hygiene assurances and enhanced confidence to guests is vital.
Accor establishments will be branded with Dettol signage in meeting and event spaces, entrance points and online to promote good hand hygiene and assure visitors that the area is protected by Dettol. Employees will also be provided with science-backed targeted cleaning protocols for high-traffic, high-touch zones, such as lifts, touchscreens and doors.
“With Australians having used Dettol products for over 80 years inside the home, partnering with Accor to assist in protecting its guests when they are in their care, demonstrates both organisations’ commitment to hygiene and germ protection,” said David Rankine, General Manager of Reckitt Health ANZ.
“We prioritise all people’s health and wellbeing, and our investment in this partnership with a brand as trusted as Dettol will bring peace of mind to all when working or staying at one of our properties or attending for a meeting or event,” added Sarah Derry, CEO of Accor Pacific.
Beyond its approach to hygiene, Accor stays devoted to providing exceptional meeting and event experiences for its guests with the latest technological innovations. In partnership with Microsoft Teams, Accor also debuts an ALL CONNECT meeting solution worldwide, allowing seamless hybrid meetings at all its properties.
