Dr Rui Pedro Loureiro will bring more than 20 years of experience as a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) specialist to the Maldives as a visiting practitioner at COMO Cocoa Island. From facial rejuvenation and anti-cellulite to acupuncture, Loureiro will cater to the diverse needs of each guest with a series of bespoke treatments. On three, five and seven-day retreats, a combination of acupuncture and epigenetic tests will also be available, whereby guests are given tailored lifestyle and diet recommendations based on genetic data obtained from their hair.

In May, internationally recognised yoga teachers, the Curry Sisters, will be offering guests a six-night yoga retreat at COMO Parrot Cay. With a focus on self-care and teaching techniques to practice yoga after leaving the retreat, the Curry Sisters' will hold daily classes inspired by the principles of Vinyasa and Hatha, Pranayama breathing and meditation. Each day of the retreat encompasses four and a half hours of yoga and time spent relaxing - whether it be a COMO Shambhala ritual, kayaking, or unwinding in a hammock between swaying palms.
