For Pride Month, Accor has launched a special podcast with two team members and one external partner who share their experiences, reaffirming the world-leading hospitality group's commitment to diversity.

Diversity is integral to Accor, with more than 230,000 team members worldwide. The company's long-standing commitment is to ensure every one of its Talents feels they can bring their whole, authentic selves to work and that all its guests feel welcome at our hotels across the globe, regardless of their differences.

This Pride Month, Accor has renewed its commitment to the LGBTQI+ community to make them feel genuinely included at all levels and highlight actions the company can carry out, including within the community, to empower them.

The podcast hears from three of Accor's team members and partners whose actions are at the core of our commitment. Featuring Jolanda Sadni Ziane, General Manager, INK Hotel Amsterdam, MGallery Collection, Ryan Sieroty, Director of Global Accounts, Business Travel Global Sales, North and Central America, and Rebeckah Loveday, Partner of Accor Pacific and Co-founder of Trans Sisters United and Trans Pride March Melbourne. Each speaker delves into their personal experiences and how they are implementing diversity initiatives through concrete action.

"We want to stand for inclusivity and diversity all year round," said Sadni.

A Long-Standing Commitment

In 2021, LGBTQI+ inclusion was introduced as a new pillar of the Group's Diversity and Inclusion strategy, consolidating its alliance to this cause, particularly with the launch of a new global collaboration as a Platinum Partner with IGLTA, the International LGBTQI+ Travel Association.

Making the transition from words to actions, Accor has established a Diversity and Inclusion community that comes together regularly to share knowledge and best practices on how to implement its commitment in all its locations.

Fostering an open and welcoming mindset is an ongoing initiative. By taking a stance, making diversity a priority, and creating actionable goals as part of an effective strategy, Accor is driving its objectives forward and continuing to make it a cornerstone of the company culture.
