Accor to Open Three Hotels in Uzbekistan

As part of a cooperation agreement with Hyper Group of Companies, Accor will expand its presence in Uzbekistan with the signing of three new properties under premium brands. The signed memorandums provide for the opening of Mövenpick Samarkand and Swissôtel Tashkent, as well as the construction of the new Swissôtel Charvak hotel in Navobod village, Tashkent region. Scheduled to open in the coming years, the total room capacity will amount to over 500 rooms across the three hotels.  

"With the signing of these three new projects, we significantly strengthen our positioning in the hotel market of Uzbekistan and introduce two new brands in this country – Swissôtel and Mövenpick, embodying elegant Swiss luxury and hospitality traditions. Mövenpick Samarkand

 Mövenpick Samarkand will open its doors following the renovation and rebranding of the famous four-star Registan Plaza Hotel at 53 Shohrukh Street in Samarkand. Located close to the business districts and historical sites of the Old City, the seven-storey hotel will feature 165 rooms in different categories ranging from standard to suites. There will also be a spa centre with a swimming pool, a gastronomic restaurant, and an extensive lobby with a lounge bar. The infrastructure will include a spacious multifunctional area for corporate and social events.

Mövenpick Samarkand is set to open later in 2022.

Swissôtel Tashkent

Swissôtel Tashkent will open its doors following the renovation and rebranding of the upscale five-star Miran International Hotel at 4 Shakhrisabz Street in Tashkent, situated close to the Railway Museum, Amir Timur Square and The State Museum of the Temurids History. The hotel will feature 173 elegant rooms and suites, as well as various wellness and dining facilities. It will be the perfect destination for family trips and friends' getaways.

The five-star Swissôtel Tashkent is set to open in Q3 2023. 

Swissôtel Charvak

Swissôtel Charvak will be erected in the resort area of Navobod village in the Tashkent region, near the artificial Charvak Lake and its sandy shore at 575 metres above sea level. Navobod is a unique year-round resort located between the Chatkal and Ugam ridges of the Western Tien Shan, on the Chirchik River, only 80 km from Tashkent. Fresh and clear mountain air, golden beaches and well-developed infrastructure attract many beach lovers, including families with children.

Swissôtel Charvak will feature 206 rooms and suites as well as a spa complex, a fitness centre, and three pools. The hotel infrastructure will also be home to two gastronomic restaurants, a bar, a banquet hall for special events and several meeting rooms.

The Swissôtel Charvak is set to open in 2024.
