Stay the Night on Dolly Parton’s Tour Bus

After over a decade on the road, Dolly Parton’s tour bus has finally come to rest in its final destination and country fans visiting the musician’s Tennessee theme park can book a stay in the iconic vehicle.

Dubbed Gypsy Wagon, the bus was used from 2008 to 2022, clocking up over 360,000 miles throughout all of North America, including 60 cities in the US and Canada on the Pure & Simple Tour in 2016.

The bus - in which Parton penned albums like 9 to 5: The Musical and Backwoods Barbie - now resides in Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, a camp country theme park with plenty of kitsch and hickory charm.

The Gypsy Wagon is available for a whopping price of US$10,000 for at least two nights in the iconic vehicle. The bus sleeps two and comes with an extra guest room in the DreamMore Resort & Spa that accommodates four. Patrons will find everything they need to live a lavish lifestyle including a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, a tub, a dining area and two toilets. Built so that Parton could get work done while on the road, the entertainer found it so cosy she often spent the night inside instead of booking a hotel room.

Guests will sleep right next to Parton’s giant cabinet of her trademark blonde wigs, with a great view of the beautiful resort outside - perfect for unwinding after a full-on day exploring the DreamMore Resort & Spa’s VIP dining experiences and Pink Jeep Wrangler adventure tours.

A portion of the proceeds from the hefty price tag on this stay will be donated to The Dollywood Foundation, which gives books to over a million children every month.
