New Zealand's biggest wine weekend has returned, with this year’s theme Taste World-Class.
Winetopia Auckland has brought together more than 50 premium wineries from around the country, offering visitors the chance to meet winemakers, sample hundreds of wines and enjoy a weekend dedicated to New Zealand's vibrant wine culture.
From tastings, expert-led masterclasses and much, much more, visitors can share in the passions and craftsmanship behind our world-class wine industry.
Bringing the weekend to life, comic legend Ben Hurley has returned to the Main Stage, heading a special line-up of guests, live music and a host of food and wine experiences across all three sessions.
New to this year’s Winetopia Culinary Programme is The Future is Now, a new series showcasing the skills and talent of six rising-star chefs from Auckland's top restaurant kitchens. Each will design a dish to pair with a wine from one of the country's most respected producers.
Adding to the overall experience, visitors can also enjoy signature dishes from pop-up restaurants throughout the weekend, while discovering and purchasing artisan products from some of the country's finest producers.
Alongside the festival programme, Winetopia's Premium Lounge offers exclusive access to some of the weekend’s finest moments.
Premium Ticket holders will be welcomed with an arrival tasting of Allan Scott Cecilia Vintage Méthode Traditionnelle, paired with Mahurangi Oysters, before enjoying a curated series of special tastings, including an exclusive ‘Meet the Winemaker’ series, at no additional cost, plus a dedicated Winetopia Concierge and complimentary coat check.
Building on the success of its milestone tenth Auckland event, Winetopia will be held at the Viaduct Events Centre on the 7th and 8th of August 2026.
