Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans for the debut of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in India with the signing of a management agreement for Noor-Us-Sabah Palace – one of the oldest and most sought-after hotels in Bhopal. Slated to open in 2025, the property will undergo extensive refurbishment to join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand as a 60-room heritage hotel.

Noor-Us-Sabah Palace will celebrate the Nawabi heritage of Bhopal, delivering guests a sophisticated yet unscripted cultural experience. Initially built in the 1920s by Bhopal's erstwhile ruler, Begum Sultan Jehan, the property was converted into a hotel in 1998. In its upcoming makeover, the interior design will harness its storied past to bring its history and the legacy of the Nawab's royal residence spanning 18 acres to life and deliver unique, authentic experiences.

Currently situated in one of Bhopal's most elite neighbourhoods, the property boasts a panoramic view of one of the largest artificial lakes in the nation. The regal architecture, coupled with the legacy of Bhopal's Nawabi culture and the scenic landscape, will provide an unmatched and unique location for weddings and events.

The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand is a portfolio of truly distinctive properties, each with a different backstory and character. Inspiring guests to uncover new places steeped in history, a fascinating past or a distinct sense of place, each property embodies the uniqueness of its location. Once open, Noor-Us-Sabah Palace will join 30 hotels within The Unbound Collection by Hyatt portfolio globally.
