Graduate Hotels Enters Short-term Home Rental Market

Graduate Hotels has launched a premium short-term rental offering with properties available in Oxford, Mississippi, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Introducing Graduate Homes, the new accommodation will offer travellers an elevated guest experience and local homeowners the prospect of earning additional income during peak university weekends such as home football and basketball games, graduation, and homecoming.

With a focus on university-anchored markets, Graduate homes will boast prime university locations, VIP amenities including a dedicated concierge service, access to Graduate Hotels pools and fitness centres and exclusive discounts across Graduate Hotels bars and restaurants. Additionally, guests can book in-home experiences, such as yoga classes or personal mixologists, thanks to Graduate Hotel's partnership with experiential platform Way.

"We're thrilled to introduce travellers to the next iteration of the Graduate Hotels guest experience with the launch of Graduate Homes," said Kevin Osterhaus, Graduate Hotels President. "The short-term rental market has exploded in the last few years, and as a hotel brand rooted in university communities, we felt this was a natural next step for our brand. We hope Graduate Homes becomes a staple for families and travellers to celebrate milestones for many years to come."

Graduate Homes presents homeowners with an unrivalled renter experience with higher returns and management services, including the booking platform, marketing of listings, vacation planning, concierge services and pre- and during-stay communication. Homeowners listed will also receive incentives and perks, including exclusive access to their neighbouring Graduate and a 20 percent discount at the 32 Graduate Hotels properties across the United States and the United Kingdom. While guests stay like a local, homeowners can enjoy the additional income and return to a clean, secure house.
