In this year's Cruise Critic Editors' Pick Awards, Norwegian Prima has been named the best new cruise ship.
Consisting of editors and industry experts, the awards judging panel aims to recognise the best players in the cruise ship industry.
Judges noted that Prima won for its "sleek, sophisticated interior design and its wide array of onboard activities, culinary options and bars and lounges."
The Norwegian Prima holds the world's only at-sea three-level go-kart racetrack that allows drivers to race on the open ocean, reaching speeds of more than 50 km/hr.
It also boasts the cruise industry's first sustainable cocktail bar, which features responsibly crafted zero-waste cocktails.
As the first of six ships in the brand's Prima Class, the Norwegian Prima has the capacity to house 3099 guests and 1506 crew.
