Accor Restaurants Recognised for Outstanding Dining 

Three of Accor’s restaurants across Australia have been acknowledged for outstanding dining by the Australian Good Food Guide 2023. As the largest hotel operator in Australia, Accor’s restaurants Atelier at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, Dixson & Songs at The Porter House Hotel Sydney - MGallery, and Lumna Restaurant and Bar at The Playford Adelaide - MGallery were awarded the prestigious Chef Hat Award.

The Australian Good Food Guide, established in 1977, is considered an essential navigational and rating accomplice for planning travellers. The judging criteria include ingredients, presentation, taste, technique, value, and consistency.

Atelier by Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour was awarded two Chef Hats. Executive chef, Sam Moore, expressed their excitement to receive the acknowledgement.

Following their opening in September 2022, Dixson & Sons at Ther Porter House Hotel Sydney - MGalllery received its first Chef Hat. Emrys Jones, the executive chef, detailed how proud they are to be recognised.

“We are lucky to have been able to connect and work with amazing producers who provide us with the best ingredients. Hopefully, this is the foundation to go on to a fantastic 2023 as we feel our potential is huge.”

Kevin Martel, executive chef at Luma Restaurant and Bar at The Playford Adelaide, is delighted after receiving a Chef Hat.

These restaurants join Accor’s growing list of restaurants with industry accolades, including Miss Mi at Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne on Spencer,  Garcon Bleu at Sofitel Adelaide, Tamarind at Pullman Reef Hotel Casino, Noosa Beach House at the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, Tesoro at Mövenpick Hotel Hobart, and Hyde Hacienda Sydney at Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour.
