Hospo Hui 2023 is set to unite industry leaders, visionaries, and innovators, in order to create an interactive platform for exchanging insights and ideas to sculpt a sustainable hospitality landscape for Aotearoa.

Hospo Hui will take place in conjunction with Fine Food New Zealand, the nation's largest trade show for the hospitality sector. The panel lineup features a diverse range of international and local industry experts speaking on a variety of topics that aim to empower participants with valuable knowledge and actionable strategies to strengthen the hospitality sector in Aotearoa.

Three panels have been announced this morning; Foodpreneurialism: The Rise of the Food Entrepreneur, From Jellyfish to Seaweed: Are we seeing the end of Veganism and the rise of sustainable eating and Manaakitanga: Broadening the hospitality experience.

Foodpreneurialism will focus on the constantly evolving world of food entrepreneurship. The current culinary renaissance of the hospitality industry is fueled by innovative foodpreneurs who are challenging traditional norms, reimagining the dining landscape and transforming the hospitality experience.

From Jellyfish to Seaweed invites you to join the conversation surrounding sustainable eating habits. The rise of veganism reshaped the hospitality industry’s understanding of plant-based diets but there are new perspectives emerging that challenge traditional notions of eco-conscious eating.

Manaakitanga explores the indigenous Māori approach to hospitality and its potential to broaden the hospitality experience. The panel of industry experts, cultural practitioners, and thought leaders will share perspectives on how this holistic philosophy can foster a deeper connection between hosts and guests, enhance customer satisfaction, and create lasting memories.

The Hospo Hui will be held at ASB Showgrounds on June 26.
