Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, India, has been named the world's number one hotel, as TripAdvisor announced the winners of the 2023 Travellers' Choice Awards.
Managing director and chief executive officer of Indian Hotels Company Ltd, Puneet Chhatwal, said that recognising Rambagh Palace, Jaipur is a testament to guests' trust in the hotel.

Often called the Jewel of Jaipur, the Rambagh Palace was initially built in 1835; where it was the home of the Queen's favourite handmaiden, later becoming a royal guesthouse and hunting lodge. In 1925, it became the official residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur. The hotel is known for its elegance and grandeur and is full of marble corridors, airy verandas, and majestic gardens covering over 47 acres that echo history.
