Co-working space Bad Company has officially opened in Hawke’s Bay’s 100-year-old building. The company recognised the need for a co-working space for individuals residing in areas away from the city and decided to convert the historic 1920s art deco building into a focused and motivated working environment.
Bad Company aims for individuals to connect, collaborate and draw inspiration from each other and break down barriers that hinder productivity and innovation.
Bad Company’s Hawke’s Bay office includes 44 desks and private meeting rooms, which can be booked in advance. Although the building was remodelled to function as a modern workplace, it still features most of its original structures, like a bold blue entrance leading to clean-cut polished floorings, soft pink hues and cream umbrella lights dangling.
One of the private meeting rooms has exquisite wood panelling wrapped around the walls, crafted to emulate the look and feel of a New York-style Cuban cigar room.
