InterContinental Sydney Opens New Private Dining Room

After going under a renovation to the tune of $120 million, the InterContinental Sydney has unveiled a new, private dining space.

The Rotunda is named for its shape, being a large circular room adorned with luxurious colours and sublime views.

In the centre of the room is a large round table, which has the ability to seat up to 16 guests at once.

The walls of the dining room are covered with lush velvet panels, and touches of marble add to the ambience and charm of the room.

The Rotunda guests can enjoy the hotel's new fine food and beverage experiences, including a three-course Chef Table Menu.

The hotel, located in Sydney's restored treasury building of 1851, has been given a contemporary and modern look, reflecting the city and its heritage.

After opening in 1985, this is the first internal upgrade of the 509-room hotel.
