Hospitality leader Marcus Taylor has been appointed as the General Manager of Daydream Island Resort and Living Reef.
Taylor, who has previously worked in the region for about 14 years, is no stranger to the Whitsundays, and with his strong commitment, passion for the region, and recent experience at Rydges Port Macquarie and Sails Port Macquarie by Rydges, will prove to be a solid asset to the group.
"Having previously worked in the Whitsundays, I've got the benefit of years of local knowledge, which I'm using to ensure we create a truly memorable experience for every one of our guests," said Taylor.
"I'm extremely passionate about the Island and what it offers and hope to be able to share this passion with all those who visit."
Taylor will oversee the property's day-to-day operations and showcase his commitment to delivering an unforgettable experience for all visitors.
Daydream Island Resort and Living Reef feature 240 rooms and suites with views across tropical gardens and crystal clear waters, three onsite restaurants and bars and swimming pools, coral beaches and rainforests in the heart of the Whitsundays.
