BWH Announce Second Aiden Hotel in Australia.

BWH Hotels is set to bring its boutique lifestyle brand, Aiden, to Western Australia. The signing of the new 120-room property in West Perth will be the second Aiden-branded hotel in Australia.

The hotel will be centrally located within the new Sydney Charles Quarter urban precinct, linking its name as Aiden SCQ. The property is to include 80 guest rooms and 40 balcony apartments. A rooftop bar and restaurant, conference and event space, an outdoor lawn, and a pool area are all planned as part of the complex.

Perth’s industrial and automotive history has been announced as the inspiration for the hotel’s design, which is to include various artworks that pay homage to the city’s culture.

Aiden Perth

Aiden SCQ has followed the first Aiden hotel in Australia, Aiden Darling Harbour, which opened in Sydney in 2022. BWH Hotels Australasian director of development, Danilo Curcuruto, said that the Aiden brand’s global success story will continue with remarkable growth and high demand within the region.

“We’re excited to introduce this trendsetting lifestyle brand to the new, exciting precinct of Perth’s Sydney Charles Quarter, confident it will thrive and contribute to its remarkable journey,” said Curcuruto.

The development is in collaboration with Mandala Hospitality Group, to provide full-scale management support, including operational, housekeeping, guest services, front office, human resources, and property maintenance management.

Mandala Hospitality Group owner and principal, John Zeckendorf, said that it has been a delight to work with BWH Hotels to bring the plan to life.

“It makes for a great opportunity to expand our portfolio in WA and showcase our hotel management solutions. We look forward to this exciting prospect,” said Zeckendorf.

Construction on the complex is due to begin in mid-2024, and is expected to be completed in mid-2026.
