Hilton has been named by Great Place to Work as the third Best Workplace in Europe in the Multinational category. This announcement follows the achievement of first place in Austria, France, Italy, Portugal, and Switzerland, as well as eight other top-ten placements throughout Europe this year. The award also marks the fifth consecutive year that Hilton has topped the hospitality industry in its ranking.
David Kelly, senior vice president of Continental Europe at Hilton, said it was a thrill to receive the award, which is further recognition for its best-in-class workplace culture.
“Our investment in team members’ careers and wellbeing is at the heart of Hilton’s success and the reliable and friendly service our guests experience. From initiatives to promote diversity, equity and inclusion, to mental health resources and opportunities to travel, this award is a testament to the strength of our employee proposition and the many benefits of a career with Hilton,” said Kelly.
Great Place to Work rankings are based on direct employee feedback, taking into account a wide range of factors around trust, culture, inclusion, wellbeing at work, perception of work-life balance and opportunities for progression. Of the 3,350 participating companies – small, medium, large and multinational – only 150 Best Workplaces in Europe have been selected. Last year, Hilton was named the third Best Workplace in Europe in the Multinational category.
With more than 50,000 team members across Europe, Hilton continues to prioritise creating a purpose-driven workplace culture that enables them to thrive, with a focus on providing a fully human experience for all through a culture of inclusion, wellness, growth and purpose. This includes initiatives such as industry-leading learning and development programmes, discounted travel and the opportunity to contribute to local communities.
Hilton has more than 500 hotels trading across the United Kingdom and Europe, with new hotels opening in locations including Paris, Lisbon and Florence in the coming months.
