Four Seasons Announce Culinary Partnership

Four Seasons Resort Anguilla has partnered with San Domenico Palace, Taormina, to announce a delectable culinary partnership. Scheduled for November 19 – November 25, 2023, Chef Samuele Messina will bring the acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant Principe Cerami to the island for refined yet relaxed dining experiences that will showcase the island’s natural bounty.

Combining his talents with Four Seasons Resort Anguilla Executive Chef Manu Calderon, the worldly collaboration promises to deliver an unforgettable gastronomic experience that combines tradition with innovation. The celebratory events include an interactive brunch at the Resort’s signature restaurant SALT, a residency takeover at Bamboo Bar and Grill, and a private dining offer.

Chef Samuele's culinary journey began at his family's farmhouse resort in Mussomeli, where he learned the art of cooking from his mother. He honed his skills in Switzerland, working at renowned restaurants such as Rialto Gourmet Bistrot in Gstaad and Il Lago at Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva. His dedication to delivering unique dishes led him to Principe Cerami at San Domenico Palace, where he quickly became Junior Sous Chef, working closely with Executive Chef Massimo Mantarro and contributing to the restaurant's Michelin star.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to step into what is an already rich culinary program at Four Seasons Resort Anguilla,” said Samuele Messina.

“I look forward to bringing a taste of Principe Cerami to both their Resort and island guests this Thanksgiving.”

Principe Cerami will take over the Resort’s Bamboo Bar and Grill overlooking Meads Bay, ranked one of the world’s top 50 beaches. Known for its intimate beachfront location, this collective menu will take influence from the island’s local culture and showcase dishes such as crayfish with clams emulsion, burrata cheese topped with basil and passionfruit, ravioli pasta filled with grouper and zucchini, and house-made taglioni pasta accompanied by white veal ragout. Guests can then end the evening on a sweet note with indulgent desserts, including Sicilian cannolis and tiramisu.

This special culinary residency and partnership between Four Seasons Resort Anguilla and San Domenico Palace, A Four Seasons Hotel, is a testament to the commitment of both establishments to providing unparalleled and unique dining experiences to their guests.

In addition to the residency, Resort guests can enjoy SALT’s signature brunch with newly added Sicilian menu items. Guests are invited to return for dinner to take in sunset views from the restaurant’s blufftop location while indulging in Chef Manu’s bountiful Thanksgiving dinner menus. Additionally, Resort guests can take advantage of a special private dining offer fit for up to ten guests. Leave the cooking to the talented culinary team and impress friends and family with a next-level Thanksgiving feast from the comfort of one’s own villa.
